AADSAR (Rajasthani: आडसर,() is a village in the eastast of the District of Bikaner in northwest the state of Rajasthan in northern India. It is located 100 kilometres (62 mi) east from Bikaner. AADSAR village is the administrative headquarters of Bikaner District and Bikaner division. It was formerly the capital of the princely state of Bikaner. The city was founded by rajput[1] Rao Bika.[2][3][4] in 1486 and from its small origins it has developed into the fifth largest city in Rajasthan. The Ganges Canal, completed in 1928, and the Indira Gandhi Canal, completed in 1987, facilitated its development.

AADSAR is famous for Aadsar mataji tample.

The internal transport system in AADSAR consists of autorickshaws. AADSAR is connected to some of major Indian cities via Roadways BUSES. The city has direct Bus connections to Delhi, Bikaner, Churu, Sri Dungargarh , Jaipur,Jalandhar, Puri, Chandigarh,Jammu, Jodhpur , Haridwar and Sardarsahar. AADSAR is well served with Private buses and is linked directly or inderectly to Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Ludhiana, Bhatinda, Haridwar, Jodhpur, Ratangarh ' lunkaransar and many other cities. National highway 11 is 26 K.M. from AADSAR. AADSAR connected Via state highway 6. State Highway will converted into national highway in next 2-3 year.

AADSAR is situated in the middle of the Thar desert and has a hot desert climate (Köppen climate classification BWh) with very little rainfall and extreme temperatures. In summer temperatures can exceed 47 °C, and during the winter they may dip below freezing.

The climate in AADSAR is characterised by significant variations in temperature. In the summer season it is very hot when the temperatures lie in the range of 29–49.8 °C (84.2–121.6 °F). In the winter, it is fairly cold with temperatures lying in the range of 2–21.4 °C (35.6–70.5 °F).[5] Annual rainfall is in the range of 250–430 millimetres (9.8–16.9 in).[5][6]
