Qalam Karwaan was a literary organization of Havelian, Pakistan which was abolished by general body after the major conflicts in April, 2012. Organization was established in 1999 by some prominent writers of that time including Muhammad Rafique, Talib Ansari, Saeed Naz, Malik Nasir Daud, Muhammad Farooq and some youngsters. Decline of organization was started same after the death of Dr. Muhammad Rafique when some young members plotted a plan to remove all the senior founding members of the organization. Although plan was successful and all founding members left the organization but there were still some young members who were working for reconnecting old and new peoples, but their efforts remained fruitless until organization was abolished in 2012. Saeed Naz was the first president of organization while Kashif Butt was the last president of organization. Talib Ansari and Muhammad Rafique served as a president during 2003 and 2006 respectively.
