This page keeps track of long-ranging patterns of abuse and disruption which have occurred across numerous venues. That is, it is a set of "bookmarks" to related incidents which are so numerous and scattered across pages and across time spans that it would be difficult to compile a list of them from memory and/or by searching page archives and histories. The incidents usually involve persistent copyright violation and POV/COI issues.
The purpose of the information documented here is threefold:
- In the case of disruption caused by a single person operating multiple accounts in contravention of policy, I can identify the individual behind further policy violations by comparing them to the past ones listed here.
- The record of past disruption, and past actions taken in response to same, indicates what course of action (e.g., escalating levels of user warnings, blocking, etc.) is appropriate for dealing with further incidents.
- The diffs and other information collected here must be provided when filing an incident report (at WP:ANI, etc.) or a dispute resolution case.
Unless otherwise stated, the documentation of any user's actions here should not be taken as my implication or belief that said actions were made in bad faith, nor that the user intends to act in bad faith in the future.
