I am a university professor of physics and electrical engineering. I have extensive experience as an experimental AMO physicist. The technology I typically work with are low energy electron guns (less than 1kV), ultra-high vacuum systems, GaAs spin-polarized electron sources. I make my own data acquisition and interface electronics.
I am also an avid vacuum tube (valve) enthusiast. I enjoy working on old radios and television sets.
