To kick off - firstly sincere thanks for giving this a go - I have high hopes of this process helping my understanding, and maybe being able to bridge a few gaps (and maybe even heal a few wounds?) - I'm not a huge diatribe poster, and I've noticed that you're not either which I think will help - I've also noticed that you are unfailingly civil, even when in strong disagreement - I aspire to the same standard, and hope I achieve it.
Nor am I a smartarse, and I have no intention of appearing to be one - please please please at any time just let me know if you think I'm heading in that direction, and I'll do my best to curb that side of things.
