Praxton Z. Smith, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, is a violinist, singer-songwriter, and composer. Currently a student at Berklee College of Music, she studies Music Business Marketing, Violin Performance and New Media & Commercial Music. Praxton studies classical violin and is now venturing into the world of Gypsy Jazz violin. When she is on stage performing original songs, Praxton is known as Zxari. Her music is a mix of soul and modern folk. Her musical influences include Dolly Parton, Citizen Cope, Luther Vandross, Eva Cassidy, and Niccolò Paganini. After school, Praxton plans to start a business venture, write songs for various artists, perform her original pieces, play for film scoring sessions, and compose songs for advertising campaigns and commercials.​
