The TD Niagara Jazz Festival is a relatively new jazz festival dedicated to celebrating the art form of jazz in the Niagara Region. The festival is focused on educating and developing future jazz audiences while combining live jazz with a Niagara experience – food, wine, culture and natural wonders. It is a festival spread over the region with performances and concerts hosted in St. Catharines, Niagara-on-the-Lake and many wineries in the Niagara region. The festival was founded by Juliet Dunn, Executive Director of the festival, Peter Shea, Artistic Director, Joe Robertson and Duncan Hopkins in 2014. In 2017, the TD Niagara Jazz Festival was awarded the "Best New Festival by Festivals Ontario.
