I am a German living in the UK. I work as an academic at the university, in the school of Computer Science. My research is about Social Simulation and how Computer Science methods and tools can help with the development and maintenance of such models. I am an advocate of Agent-Based Modelling.
Once I arrived in the UK I became a friend of the inventor of Octopush (Alan Blake) and created a website about the history of Underwater Hockey for him.
I have been playing handball for many years, first in Germany, then in the UK.
