María Porciel Crosa holds a BA degree in technical-scientific and literary translation from the Instituto Lenguas Vivas "Juan Ramón Fernández" (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and a MA in Localisation and Translation Technologies from the Universitat Jaume I (Castellón, Spain). She is currently a PhD student at this university and does research on translation "universals". She is also member of the ECPC research group and a teaching coordinator of the project Wikipedia:School and university projects/Universitat Jaume I - E-translating.
