Orca Book Publishers is an independent Canadian publishing company, based in Victoria, British Columbia. The company publishes a broad range of children’s and Young Adult titles, including board and picture books, early chapter books and teen fiction. The company is noted for its series of novels for reluctant readers: Orca Currents, Orca Sports and Orca Soundings. In 2010, Orca Book Publishers began publishing novels for adult reluctant readers under the imprint Raven Reads.
