Hovi-Ari 1759-91J Valio

While bays and blacks aren't nearly as rare in Finnhorses as cream, grey, and roan, a homozygous EE is a rarity. Trotter stallion Humeeti 1569-98J is one of those, known widely as "The Blackmaker". His sire, excellent bay trotter Hovi-Ari, sired nearly 500 offspring, and made "blackmanes" much more common than before.

Unless otherwise denoted, all horses are certainly Ee. Only males with offspring and studbook females will be listed.
