The Tales of the Frog Princess is a book seires by E.D. Baker foucusing on Princess Emerelda and her love, Eadric. This book seires is mainly intented for tennage or younger girls. There are currently five books with a sixth coming out this fall. It takes place in what seems to be medievil times and is based in a fictional place.

This is the first book in the series. It is about Princess Emerelda ( last name unmentioned ), the princess of Greater Greensward,a kingdom in a fictional land. She is plaged by a demanding and strict mother, a self-admiring prince of a fiance, and a true witch of a grandmother. Her only true friend is her aunt, Grassina, the green witch and protector of the kingdom. The green witch is the most powerful and nicest witch in the kingdom. So one day during a conversation with her fiance, Jorge, she decides she has had enough and runs away to the swamp, a magical place she enjoys very much. The she meets Eadric, an enchanted prince who has been turned into a frog. He begs her to kiss him, and she finally relents, but because of a magic charm reversal braclet she is wearing she is turned into a frog. She is then whisked off tinto a seires of froggy adventures, finally turning back at the end of the book.
