Clyde is a singer, pianist, actor, and musician that has appeared on TV as a newborn and has had several theatre works including The Wiz, Wonderland, Oliver Twist, and My Little Tea Pot.
On February 20, 1998, in Brooklyn, NY, Clyde Johnson Jr. was born. He was born to Denise Johnson and Clyde Johnson, Sr. Though he wan't born with parents that were gifted in the arts, in a weird way, all of his siblings were gifted as well. He has four brothers. Jaden the smallest one, can act, Jaleel the second smallest can sing, dance, act, play the violin, play the piano, and play the clarinet, and Keenan Clyde's fraternal twin brother can act, do stand- up comedy, opera singing, and dance. As a Clyde Jr. would get good grades. In the first grade Clyde had started showing an interest for acting. Later on, when he was about 8 years old, he had started playing the piano. From there on he had decided to pursue a career in acting, entertaining, acting, being a multi- instrumentalist, and musician. In the 5th grade, Johnson had then participated in a 5th grade musical later to be known as Oliver Twist. In addition to Oliver Twist, He has been in The Wiz and Wonderland, when entering Middle School.
Clyde had started his professional acting career on the day he was born. Fortunately, while he was being born, he was seen partially on the news. Also Clyde is much into theatre and being on film and movies. Aside from acting, Clyde had been giving nicknames such as: the the Musical Genius, the next Scott Joplin, and Prodigy. Clyde is interested in multiple instruments including the piano, organ, guitar, classical guitar, synthesizer, keyboard, electric keyboard, vocals, and clarinet. Although Clyde isn't signed to a record label, he is currently searching and sending demos out so that he could have a chance to get signed. Johnson cites that his influences are : Eddie Murphy, Mindless Behavior, John Legend, Whoopi Goldberg, Tyler James Williams, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Leon Thomas lll, Jim Carey.
Currently, Clyde may possibly be starring as an extra in the film "Frozen Ground" with Nicholas Cage, Vanessa Hudgens, and 50 Cent. IF he does star in the film "Frozen Ground" this will be his first film that he has ever done. Clyde is now 13 years old and resides in New Jersey. He is thinking of going to Julliard and Laguardia in the future or get home schooled to move forward in his career in music and his acting career.
