Stephen Potts - photographer, born in Newtownards, Northern Ireland, 27th January 1967. Educatued in Methodist College Belfast leaving in 1985. Potts served his time with Tom Russell in Advertising Photography of Little Patrick Street, a commercial studio in Belfast, where he later became the production manager. Self-employed since 1993 he shoots commercial work for advertising and architectural clients as well as documentary projects. Potts is probably best known for an image of the Samson and Goliath cranes in the Harland and Wolf shipyard, taken as the shipyard buildings were being demolished.
