Horst Kløver (born 1970) is a writer, photographer and curator. As a photographer he has been working for major publications in Germany and abroad like Stern, Merian and Time magazine. He is a member of laif agency for reportage photography and has a long-standing experience in press, travel, fashion, panoramic and art photography. Horst Kløver is a frequent contributor to Photonews (Germany), Imago (Slovak Republic), The New York Times (Lens, USA) and Artinvestor (Germany), among others.
In early 2006 he founded the project Photeur focusing on Eastern & Eastern European Photography featuring young talents and established artists, showcasing their works in exhibitions and publications.
Latest exhibition, curated in cooperation with Walter Keller, Zurich, Switzerland: LABOR OST ("Laboratory East"), May 2010, in the context of the Swiss Photo Award, to be seen at easternphotoworks.com
Horst Kloever is the designated artistic director of the 31. Bielefeld Photo Symposium LOOK EAST, scheduled for spring 2011.
