I Am The Phoenix edit

About the Phoenix edit

Hello there, I am Phoenix Koren. Phoenix Koren is the name of a character I created for the story of Tempestas, which will be in the process of becoming an anime soon, and I thought the name appropriate for this wonderful site. I thoroughly enjoy video games, anthropomorphism (as relating to the furry fandom), roleplay, creative writing, philosophy, music, the band Nightwish, the composer Akira Yamaoka, and sociology.

My favorite fictional genre is science fiction, with my favorite book in that genre being Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, but my favorite fictional work is Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon. Fictional works are very important to me, as I believe the world is told through stories, so I have read quite a few books in my time. My two other favorite pastimes are Video Games (Old School and New School), and Magic: The Gathering, although I must say that the best competitive game ever created is chess, with go being a close second.

My favorite fictional work of all time is Silent Hill.

Wikipedia Contributions of the Phoenix edit

I have only contributed to the Halo: Combat Evolved article so far, but I plan to make several contributions to the anime section, specifically on Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist.

The biggest contributions I will be making are to the Silent Hill universe, which, because of the enormous ambiguity regarding almost every detail of the game, is so open to personal interpretation that I want to see the major claims backed by hard evidence. I am currently gathering all the data I can on Valtiel, Pyramid Head, and Samael, as these characters are the ones most frequently referenced, but hardest to define.

Subjects of Which the Phoenix is Knowledgeable edit

I am most knowledgeable about paintball, Silent Hill, Naruto, video games in general, Magic: The Gathering, general philosophy, psychoactive drugs, and Christianity. You may see contributions by me in all these areas in the future.
