The Little Riot Press The little riot press are a collective of artists and designers who combine the use of typography with montage/collage. Little riot press are publishers/makers of limited edition handmade books, posters, postcards, badges, etc. Examples of work, presentations and performances by by members of the little riot press have been exhibited in USA, Europe and the UK.

The little riot press is working very much in the vain of Guy Debord/Situationist international/Agitprop/Letterist international(LI)/Punk, Malcolm Mclaren/Jamie Reid/Vivienne Westwood's ‘Seditionaries’. The little riot press shares its DNA with Dada/Fluxus/Adbusters/Shepherd Fairey/Jim Fitzpartick/Yoko Ono,etc, and probably took influence from Ken Garland's 1964 'First Things First' manifesto, mixed with an intellectual rejection of main stream capitalist consummer based values.

All commercials promote narrow stereotypes and use Freudian psychology to target specific social demographics with the sole intention of separating the consumer from their hard earned money. There are alternatives to the above…

Through design, exhibition and the construction of situations, the littleriotpress attempts to question, and or disrupt, the façade of the ‘spectacle’ though the use of visual language. ’....
