I'm a librarian of the systems/tech/web services sort. My contributions tend to focus on web technologies and information science but I also do citation-hunting for all types of topics. I participate in and assist in coordinating the Art+Feminism edit-a-thon for California College of the Arts.

FindDPLA edit

In 2014 at a library hackathon, Ocaasi and I wrote a userscript FindDPLA that searches for items in the Digital Public Library of America which are related to the current Wikipedia article you're browsing. Give it a try!

WikipeDPLA is available as a Chrome extension! Since it's tedious to click around the mixed content warning caused by the user script, try installing the WikipeDPLA Chrome extension.

Translations wanted! I'd love to translate the WikipeDPLA extension's user interface into more languages. It's very little work since there are only a few phrases used. Contact me on my talk page if you're interested.

IDC 201 Nature of Knowledge edit

I used Wikipedia for an assignment in a course I taught at Chesapeake College. We updated articles related to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and the college itself. See the course page for more details.
