Someday I will put something here about myself, ...or not. For now, just sandboxes:
Sandboxes
editPretty messy and mostly old. Bolded the "important" or "currently in progress" ones, maybe:
- /Sandbox2b: LONG chronology of Pacific fur trade and many related topics pertaining to North Pacific from early contact era through 19th century, meant as a resource and to help see relationships of diverse events in terms of dates, people, ships, etc. Still missing some significant things.
- /Pages to make: Tons of redlinks for mostly maritime fur trade people, ships, places, companies, other things; plus long list of source books and websites.
- /Sandbox8: Sources on US maritime fur traders, firms, families, ships, etc etc. Links to existing pages, various messy ideas.
- /Ideas for translating Age of Sail Spanish Navy terms: Sometimes useful, especially translating terms for naval officers.
- /Sandbox6: Frances Barkley info, for expanding Frances Barkley page someday.
- /Sandbox2: PNW Coast river list, mostly for redlinks indicating new article possibilities.
- /Sandbox: Pacific Northwest fur trade posts and forts, and coastal ports/harbors/etc. Old but perhaps still useful.
- /Sandbox3: blank
- /Sandbox4: Iskut, possibly useful links?
- /Sandbox5: creek WiP page. To do: Forrest Kerr Creek, Ningunsaw River, Dagaichess Creek, Porcupine River (Stikine River tributary), Tanzilla River, Klappan River, Burrage Creek, Flood River, Scud River, Katete River, Barrington River (British Columbia), Little Klappan River, Pitman River; Johnson River (Stikine River tributary),
- /Sandbox7: blank; Juan Pantoja y Arriaga?
- /Sandbox9: blank
- /Sandbox10: Attempt to list US/Canada cities named for indigenous individuals, in order of population (hard!)
- /Mount Spickard: blank
- /tests: blank
- /BC hydrometric data: This page explains how to get BC Canada stream discharge statistics. Probably out-of-date due to changed BC URLs.
- /Sandbox2c: Spanish place names in the Pacific Northwest. Not very useful?
- /Sandbox1: Old & new style names related to maritime fur trade era. Not very useful.
- /La Plata tributaries: Now at List of tributaries of the Río de la Plata.
- /Historic Rapids of the Columbia River: Now at List of rapids of the Columbia River.
