Zouave US Model 1863 Rifle
This 19th hundred century Rifle have the same barrel's strength, as the US 1841 Rifle. The things that differs the Zouave US Model 1863 Rifle, from the US 1841, is the fine finish and the mechanical work. The company that started to produce the Zouave Rifle was Remington Arms company at Llion, New york, on the orders of the US Government. The area of supposed use was for the US Artillery Department, and never to be used to any Civil army division. The allure for this particular rifle is due to the nice look and fine features, were discovered by shooters and collectors of arms, during the Civil War centennial. The Zouave Rifle was created with brass furniture. The eagles stamp on the lock is very specific for this rifle [1]
