Peter J. Wetzelaer Peter J. Wetzelaer (born 9-25-1936) in Providence Rhode Island. He was raised in Cranston R.I. and graduated from New England Institute of Technology. He also attended M.I. T.,Northeastern and Umass at Amherst. His first job was with the Radio Corp. of America, Naval Base, Newport and finally Bose Corporation after thirty years of employment. He was a member of the R.I. Air National Guard and entered the Air Force during the Berlin Crisis in 1961.He was married to Judith (Pease) Wetzelaer of Springfield Ma. She died from ovarian cancer after 44 years of marriage. They had a boy, Peter Jr.,two daughters, Susan and Lori. He married Barbara (Wnuk) Johnson of Pawtucket R.I. four years after his first wife's death. During retirement, Peter and Barbara wrote a novel calledA Step Back published by IUniverse. On Sunday, (12/18/11) an article in the Ledger (www.TheLedger.com) published a story about the novel which appeared on page D8. new article content ...
