Thomas Richard Mayer Thomas Richard Mayer is a British philosopher, political activist, logician, and cultural critic. He is currently co-editor of the online Marxian initiative: 'thenonviolentcommunism'. One of Mayer's noticible criticisms is his attack on the notion of free will. As a Marxist, he claims not only is it integral to capitalist society, but that it is ultimately detrimental to the field of ontology. Mayer is a hard determinist.
