born in San Pblo Huixtepec in june 12th 1980 Born with a natural artistic talent, Jose Antonio Perez Rodrigruez’s first few years were spent growing up in the little town of San Pablo de Huixtepec, set in the foothills of the Sierra Madre in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca. Being in close proximity with nature, the seeds were sown early to cultivate the gentle soul that shines out from within this talented young artist and photographer. His family’s subsequent move meant that he spent a large part of his life growing up in the States. It opened his eyes to all sides of life.
Jose started to draw and paint as a young child, so he could capture his love of all things beautiful in life. As soon as he acquired his first camera, he began experimenting with photography and then realised that he could express himself artistically not only on paper but also through different techniques with the lens.
Jose’s natural ability to take photos from artistic angles awakens us to the realisation of the beauty that’s in every situation surrounding us in life. Watching him in shooting motion is an art form in itself too!
Jose has taken a range of shots around his native Mexico, and also in England, UK, where he was travelling last year to undertake a few projects and experience life. His photos share with us his unique view of life and places . ♥
