Tone Marrone is a former Canadian Football League lineman, actor, and candidate for mayor of Hamilton in 2010. Tone is a divorced father of four.

Tone Marrone, a former member of the Concordia University Stingers, was the first round draft pick of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1984. Tone played in the CFL for three seasons before injuries forced an early retirement.

Tone first received acting fame as the Ultramatic Adjustable Beds spokesperson, and he is affectionately known as "Utramatic Tony" [1]. Tone's biggest acting performance was as notorious Canadian mobster Paul Volpe in the History Television production of Mob Stories II: Fox Hunt[2], which has received air-time throughout Canada and the United States.

In 2010 Tone was nominated as a candidate for Mayor of Hamilton Ontario. The election date is October 25, 2010. Tone's campaign website vote4tone4mayor.ca denotes his platform summary, which includes: Strong Leadership, Freezing Tax Rates and Eliminating Budget Waste, Creating an Environment to Support Job Creation, Cleaning up the Downtown, and Supporting Local Sport.[3]
