Terry Edward Peterman (born April 19, 1957 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania) is an American Firefighter/Driver/Engineer, Paramedic, and Scuba Instructor. A native of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, he now lives in Palm Bay, Florida.

Peterman Graduated High School in 1975 at South Williamsport Area Senior High School. He then graduated college at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida with a BS degree in Chemical Oceanography, graduating in December 1978. While attending college he attended an Instructor Development course and become a certified National Association of Underwater Instructors Instructor. Later becoming a Scuba instructor for the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. Also while attending college and for most of the 10 years following Terry was a DJ for WFIT, the university's radio station. After graduating and several months of striking out at Oceanography positions; Terry obtained employment with Texas Instruments in Houston, Texas as a Semiconductor Process Engineer. After a year in Texas, Terry was longing to return to Florida and obtained employment with Harris Corporation as a Semiconductor Process and Development engineer. Following an Economic Layoff, Terry went back to School to become certified as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician; while teaching Scuba for Florida Atlantic Scuba School and Building Docks and Seawalls for Lindell Marine Construction.
