Inverted Bowel Syndrome

Inverted Bowel Syndrome (IBS-R or reversed colon dystrophy) is a rare (only affecting one in every ten million people) colon disorder affecting the directional flow of matter throughout the digestion process. The disorder is characterized with vomiting of food and waist, and may contain gastrointestinal fluids. Often confused with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which is also related with functional bowel disorder. While the cause of IBS-R is mainly unknown, it is suspected to be caused spontaneously through traumatic events afflicting the digestion tract.
