Introduction

edit

My name is Angela Mitchell, and I am a writer, journalist, editor and publicist. In addition to my freelance articles and fiction works, I have provided marketing and public relations support to a variety of companies and individuals since 1995 through my company Paranoid PR & Creative.

As of April 2018, I am not currently employed by any individual or company associated with any entry I have edited, however I will be declaring unpaid Conflicts of Interest farther down below.

Meanwhile, my initial goal has been to provide factual, verifiable, and updated information thus far, and I added an entry recently on an associate I worked with in the distant past, Jason Foodman. (NOTE: I now realize that I should have posted a request for entry versus entering it myself. However, I am happy for that entry to be reviewed for neutrality, and for myself to be removed as an allowable editor to further avoid conflicts of interest if necessary. I have posted COI notifications in what I hope are all the correct locations, and have further requested that an editor review the listing.)

I would welcome review, advice and oversight from Wikipedia's editors so that any entries I edit remain impartial, factual, and unbiased. I am mindful of the requirements for adhering to Wikipedia's strict need for neutrality and welcome any oversight necessary so that entries meet with Wikipedia's standards at the highest level.

COI Declarations and Information

Jason Foodman

I am an unpaid contributor who worked with Jason Foodman in 2007, providing PR for his company DigitalSwift.

I later worked with the marketing team for FastSpring, a company he co-founded, on a freelance basis from 2014-2017. I had no contact with Mr. Foodman during this period and answered solely to Christina O'Toole in their marketing department.

I later assisted Global Delight, a company where he served as President, with marketing materials for a single event (CE Week) in June 2016, answering to Guruprasad Kamath H, Director of Marketing for Global Delight.

In both cases (FastSpring and Global Delight) the companies reached out to me independently for support, and I answered solely to their marketing heads for the duration of my work.

I do not currently work with Mr. Foodman or with any company connected with Mr. Foodman, and contributed the entry for him after realizing he did not have one, upon visiting the FastSpring entry. I contacted Mr. Foodman to get updated bio information, his birth date and middle name, and information on his current companies and projects.

I now realize per Wikipedia protocol that I should have started a Talk page for Mr. Foodman first, however, I have done my best to ensure that his entry is neutral, free of marketing and advertorial content, and that it includes reputable, factual and verifiable third-party citations needed for verification of all information added to his entry.

I welcome any input, edits, and feedback from the Wikipedia community in regards to his page so that it remains neutral and impartial.

FastSpring

I recently edited the FastSpring entry in order to link Jason Foodman's name to his recently created wiki entry.

As I have noted elsewhere, I worked with FastSpring from 2014-2017 as a freelance marketing contributor but have otherwise not edited the company's Wiki entry, and am not currently employed by them now.
