I am 56 years old, working as a medical oncologist at the S. Croce Hospital of Fano by February 2000. My name is Paolo Lippe, I was born in Bergamo in 1964 and I experienced some childhood years in Milan, then, from 1969 in Bari for more than 20 years; here I went to school until the scientific degree (E. Fermi Institute, 1983). In Bari, in addition to studying, I played for five years in the Twenty Four Hours doing concerts throughout the Puglia and a little further. The project has survived until today, but no more concerts. With this band we produced 5 official albums (four of them downloadable for free from Jamendo to this link:), three of which are produced by prestigious record companies (Mellow Records and Musea) and of which, the third "Oval Dreams" has just been reissued by the label Russian MALS and it is also available on the iTunes platform. After a period of study and the Civil Service in Abruzzo (Pescara, Francavilla al Mare, Chieti, Avezzano) I went back to Bari, where I finished my studies.

It is worth remembering some of my past pictorial, although the visual arts play a minimum portion of the development of my cultural interests. I began to study pencil and charcoal drawing and later oil painting / watercolor / coffee in the 70s with my friend and Master Italo Ghilardi of Bergamo, in the periods of the summer holidays, when as kids, my brother Mark and I were dating secondary and high schools. At that time my brother and I have produced hundreds of drawings in pencil, charcoal, watercolors, oils on wood and canvas, as well as some details still lifes made with coffee instead of watercolor, up from white wrapping paper. Later, in the early 80s I have completely abandoned painting to dedicate myself totally to the music, while my brother Mark's continued commitment professionally, graduating first Academy of Fine Arts in Bari, and later as a teacher of History of 'Art and Painting School in Bergamo.

I graduated in Bari (1995) and specialized in Oncology at Ancona (1999). I published some studies in international journals of Oncology [1]. I'm fond of musica, Macintosh, Linux, HIFI (CD, vynils, especially turntables, speaker systems). I think I'm the most experienced Cizek speakers expert in the whole world!

I like to write articles and reviews for magazines and online websites that deal with computer science, especially Linux and music [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]. Since November 2007 I collaborate with online magazine "Music on TNT" and since February 2009 with "TNT-Audio" translating articles from english to italian.[7] [8]. Since July 2012 I started a collaboration with online magazine "Open Journal"[9].

However, my greatest passion is restoring old turntables, old prestigious speakers, assemble HIFI systems for friends, with particular attention to the high value for money.

I often use Wikipedia, for Personal and business or culture usage and since 2008 I started to collaborate with the Italian version of the Free Encyclopedia. Recently I started collaboration with the english one
