| Greetings, fellow nerds! I am Panda Paladin, a space enthusiast, aspiring Tolkien nerd, and watcher of the insurance industry. I'm a graduate of Miami University (Ohio, not the one in Florida with much better weather, unfortunately) with degrees in Psychology and Mathematics. I strive to do my best with grammar, but alas, I'm not immune to typos, or the occasional errors, particularly when it comes to comma usage.
In my career, I've worked in a variety of fields including banking, investment, insurance, marketing and a variety of data science roles. |

| I've been a long-time lurker on Wikipedia, going back to 2002 or so -- my memory of those days are a bit hazy. Since then, my life has been filled with long hours, the demands of a family and not much time to give back to the incredible community here. I'm finally at a point in my life when I've recovered a small, modest amount of time for myself and can pursue my own passions again. I'm an avid news junkie and feel like I can bring some solid contributions surrounding my passions of business, space, Tolkien (I'm relatively new there, so be patient) and mathematics. I have some self-taught experience with coding, but markup is relatively new to me, so I'm learning as I go. |
