I am a self-taught botanist hailing from east Texas originally. I love teaching folks about native plants and ecology, so I figured what better way to do that than to contribute to Wikipedia. To this day, Wikipedia remains a valuable tool in my botanizing, so I hope to make that possible for other folks.

Most of my contributions are related to plants, ecology, and locations as well as the habitats around them. Professionally, I am in the political-science field, and I research a lot of history and political topics as well, so I sporadically contribute to those topics.
