Uncyclopedia is a series of forked websites that parody Wikipedia.

Uncyclopedia is a name used by several humor websites that parody Wikipedia. The original version of Uncyclopedia was created on Wikia (also known as Fandom). Over the years, several recurring inside jokes have developed on the website.

The list edit

The following inside jokes are presented in alphabetical order.

AAAAAAAAA! edit

AAAAAAAAA! is a page that entirely consists of the letter A, a few punctuation marks, some images featuring the titular "word", and the text "AAA!!" being itself made out of A's. It is one of the most famous Uncyclopedia pages.

A wizard did it edit

A wizard did it is the name of an article posted by the Uncyclopedia user Dexter111344 in 2009, simply consisting of an image of a wizard and the text "WOW! IT'S FUCKING MAGICAL OR SOMETHING!" Several variations of the article have been created, along with a complete "retrospective" that overanalyzes the short page.

Bat Fuck Insane edit

Bat Fuck Insane refers to either pages, people or other things that seem to be utterly nonsensical or deranged. It can also refer to pages that overuse Uncyclopedia inside jokes.

Benson's 3-D House of Pancakes edit

Benson's 3-D House of Pancakes is an Uncyclopedia forum thread which serves as a place for follows of the fictional religion "Bensonism". Several off-topic subjects are also written there.

Captain Obvious edit

Captain Obvious is a character commonly featured in the "quotes" commonly found above Uncyclopedia articles. He states obvious or tautological statements about a subject.

Cunt cunt cunt cunt crap crap shit edit

Cunt cunt cunt cunt crap crap shit is the name of an article created by Dr. Johnston, repeating the titular phrase several times, and including a disclaimer that the article is not funny.

Euroipods edit

Euroipods is the name of a fictional scam website that claims to be giving away iPods for free.

Fisher Price edit

An article about Fisher Price [sic] was created by 4.252.99.182 in October of 2005, simply reading "go eat shit fuckers". After nearly being deleted by the moderators, the community voted to keep the article.

Grues edit

A grue is a creature referenced repeatedly in the 1977 text adventure computer game Zork. While the grue has no physical description in its source material, it has come to be portrayed on Uncyclopedia as an indestructible, man-eating monster, often said to resemble Domo-kun, the rectangular brown mascot of the Japanese TV network NHK. The website Uncyclopedia contains a fully interactive humorous version of "Zork".

HATE HATE HAT! edit

HATE HATE HAT! is a memorable line from a likely satirical rant about Uncyclopedia, under the page title "Uncyclopedia is the worst."

IRAQATTACK edit

IRAQATTACK is apparently a Steven King novella, and a "psychological thriller about an Internet troll", which was posted onto the Uncyclopedia section UnBooks. It was uploaded by the user "An Ape that Only Exists on Thursdays" in 2007.

Jimbo Wales edit

Jimmy Wales, often nicknamed Jimbo on Uncyclopedia is the creator of Wikipedia. Thus he is considered the arch-enemy of the Uncyclopedia website.

Kitten huffing edit

Kitten huffing is the name of an Uncyclopedia article created by 67.121.74.131 in February 2005, thus making it one of the website's first inside jokes. In this article, it is claimed to be a controversial trend for kittens to be inhaled, or "huffed" to intoxicate the "huffer". as if kittens were drugs.

Lyrithya edit

Lyrithya was the username of a notorious Uncyclopedia administrator, who was often portrayed as a tyrant or power-abuser.

Mr. Winkler is GAY edit

Mr Winkler is GAY is a satirical rant about a (probably fictional) English teacher, Mr. Winkler, written from the perspective of his young student, who had gotten an F in his class, and claims that Mr. Winkler is "gay and stupid and ungly and retarted [sic] and fat." The student hopes that Mr. Winkler will get fired, or go to the moon or a "gay retared place".

My sojourn edit

My sojourn is a series of pages parodying an infamous article, written by Denzo in 2005 and titled: That time I was nearly raped by a yak during my sojourn in Canada. The article was notable for its "un-encyclopedic" structure, poor punctuation, and short size.

Oscar Wilde edit

Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) was an Irish poet and playwright. It became a recurring joke to forge Oscar Wilde quotes early on in the website's history, and as the joke became more and more prominent, new "Oscar Wilde quotes" on Uncyclopedia began to bear little resemblance to real Oscar Wilde quotes.

The word parakeet written exactly two hundred and forty-two times edit

This article is exactly what it says. It narrowly avoided multiple ban proposals, similarly to Fisher Price and A wizard did it.

Tourette's Syndrome edit

One of the most notorious Uncyclopedia articles, Tourette's syndrome, also known as Fuckwit, features large amounts of incoherent curse-words in bold randomly placed into the article. A large amount of controversy, mainly consisting of complaints from people who themselves suffer from Tourette's, have been written about the article. Many of these have themselves been incorporated into the article, with large amounts of random bold swear-words added as well.

Willy on Wheels edit

Willy on Wheels, sometimes nicknamed Wheely Willy, was the username of a notorious Wikipedia vandal who renamed pages to have "on wheels!" in their titles. He is thus treatedas a hero on Uncyclopedia.
