Brief Biography

edit

Detroit born Guitarist, mainly associated with Classical music,Jazz music, Rock music and Pop music. Although a full-time musician now, my career started in the Automotive Industry, as do most raised in Michigan. Once the Auto market began to struggle, I moved to Las Vegas, to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Las Vegas proved to be an important stepping stone towards an inevitable move into my career as a musician. While in Las Vegas I performed at the Luxor Hotel Talent Show, where I was awarded the First Place prize. Judged by Criss Angel’s producer, Carrot Top, and the creator of Cirque Du Soleil. A week later I was invited to open Excalibur Hotel’s talent show. As luck would have it; later that night I was working Valet for Luxor and coincidentally pulled up the producer’s car from last weeks talent show. After a “Hey wait, aren’t you that guitar player?” We had a lengthy discussion about a necessary career change from business to music. Having someone of his reputation and experience push me towards pursuing a career in music was the catalyst needed to reverse my ambition from business to music. Currently attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying Contemporary Writing and Production.

Music

edit

Currently involved in many arrangement and composition projects with my band, The 25th Hour. Encompassed by; Max Jaeger on drums, Calvin Park on Alto Sax, Liutauras Janusaitis on Tenor Sax, August Arrowsmith on Bass, and Tony Buzdykhanov on piano. Our collective goal is to break down the musical barriers that divide Classical, Jazz, Rock, and Pop. Emphasize each styles strengths while fusing them into marketable melodic ideas. Deland is my first composition of this style. I have several other compositions of this nature awaiting the studio’s red light. We plan to start performing live in 2010, so keep in touch for showtimes.
