I am known as P3T3RK3Y5 (pronounced peterkeys but written in 1337) everywhere that matters[1], because; I am kinda techie like that; I play keyboards (most notably an Access_Virus Limited Edition [Redback); and my given name is Pete. I am sometimes referred to as iPete in my local community[2], although this nomenlcature is far from unique enough to provide anything other than a conextual identity. P3T3RK3Y5 is uniquely me.

I was born September 25th in 1967 in Greendale, WI (just south of Milwaukee) where my father worked as a test engineer for GE Medical Sytems, and my mother as a Public Health Nurse. Since being essentially purchased by [Reiman Publishing] The Greendale township has since degenerated into movie-set starbucks-stylized facade of what it once was. Gone is the hardware store full of stuff, ice cream parlor and seedy video arcade.

Details of my childhood are sketchy at best, at least for me, primarily because I have a horrible memory. My brother Mark, born just eighteen months after me provides these details when called upon. Instead I recall examining the rotations of a series of gears on a grid. I also began taking piano lessons when I was five years old. My father taught me to solder before I was ten, and I was constructing simple circuits (most notably for a halloween costume as a robot) not long thereafter. Today I recall conceptual ideas very well - such as Kinetic Energy relates with the Square of the Speed - not by envisioning the formula, but because the idea sticks with me.

I am a musician, producer, designer, video editor, blogger, and most recently photographer.
