The twelfth season of The Voice : La Plus Belle Voix, French musical tele-hook program, is broadcast from 25th of February, 2023 on TF1[1],[2]. It is hosted by Nikos Aliagas.
Coaches and Contestants edit
On September 14, 2022, the new jury is announced by the channel and will be made up of Vianney and Amel Bent who are extending for a new season, Zazie whose last participation dates back to seasons 7 and All-Stars and rappers Bigflo and Oli who have been coaches in the Belgian version of The Voice. Mika, meanwhile, will be this season's "Super Coach", taking part in Super Cross Battles voting with the public.

Course of the season edit
Blind Auditions edit
The principle is, for the four coaches, to choose the best candidates pre-selected by the production. During the presentations of each candidate, each juror and future coach is seated on a chair, with his/her back to the stage and facing the public, and listens to the voice of the candidate without seeing him/her (hence the term "Blind Auditions"): If he/she considers that he/she is in the presence of a candidate who suits him/her, the juror presses a buzzer in front of him/her, which then turns his chair over to face the candidate. This means that the juror, who finally physically discovers the candidate, is ready to train and support the candidate and wants him/her in his/her team. If the juror is the only one to have turned around at the end of the performance, then the candidate goes by default to his/her team. On the other hand, if several jurors turn around, it is up to the candidate to choose which coach he/she wishes to join.
This season sees the evolution of the "Block" rule which is replaced by the "Super Block". This new rule allows a coach to block another coach until the final choice of the talent (therefore still usable after the delivery of the talent) and no longer before he/she turns around.
When the coaches reach the 14 talents, the production deactivates their chair.
The blind auditions are filmed from Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 and Monday 28 November.

The Battles edit
During the Battles event, each coach designates pairs (or triples) of talents, who will sing in tandem a song designated by the coach.
The talents flight will still be present this year.
In each Battle, 2 talents will sing in tandem. Only one can win. The other is eliminated unless another coach decides to "steal" him/her and integrate them into his/her team. For this, at the end of the results, the coach interested in the talent buzzes (Je vous veux). If he/she is the only one, the candidate joins this team. If several coaches are buzzing, it is up to the talent to choose which team they want to join.
A new rule will appear this year on the battles: the five jurors will be seated in a chair placed in the center of the stage during the performances of their candidates for total immersion.
The battles were shot from December 20th to 22nd, 2022.
