We Make You is the first Japanese-language extended play by South Korean boy group Seventeen. It was released on May 30, 2018, through Pledis Japan. It contained one new song, "Call Call Call!", and Japanese versions of four previously released songs. The EP peaked at 2 on Oricon's weekly charts, and charted for a total of 74 weeks.
Background edit
Seventeen debuted in 2015 with the Korean-language EP 17 Carat, and hosted their first concerts in Japan one year later, in August 2016, in Tokyo and Osaka.[1] Over the next few years, Seventeen continued to perform in Japan at progressively larger venues, and in early 2018 they held a 6 date tour for 110,000 Japanese fans. At one of these concerts, at Yokohama Arena, Seventeen announced that they would be making their Japanese language debut later that year.[2] The album was officially announced via their Japanese fanclub on February 22, 2018[3] and the album title and tracklist were revealed March 14.[4]
