Cindy's Drive In, often shortened to Cindy’s, is a local, family owned, ‘50s-style drive-in ice cream parlor and restaurant in Granby, Massachusetts. Cindy’s owner and founder is Cynthia Maloni, better known as Cindy, but it is generally managed by her son, Jeremiah Maloni.[1]

The aesthetic of the area, as previously mentioned, is meant to feel like a classic '50s diner. They have '50s-style music and images to fit it.[2]

There is a picnic spot and small playground in the pavilion behind the restaurant, a popular location for dogs and children.

History

edit

According to the owner, Cynthia Maloni, the shop was originally a Tastee-Freez that started in the 1950s, but the Maloni family bought the place in 1995 and turned it into what it is today.[3]
