I am a postdoctoral researcher in geoscience at the Pennsylvania State University. I study global climate change, with an emphasis on Bayesian data assimilation, probabilistic prediction, and decision analysis (optimal economic policies and design of observational systems).
My doctorate, from Penn State, is in physics, in the field of condensed matter theory (primarily classical and quantum Markov chain Monte Carlo simulations of physisorption).
