Margo Prey is a stage and film actress, best known for her lead role in the 1990 low-budget horror film Troll 2, which is widely acknowledged as being one of the "worst best movies" ever made. She is also known for her brief and elusive appearance in the 2010 documentary Best Worst Movie, which charted the cult fandom associated with the 1990 film.

During the 1980s and 1990s, Margo Prey was an active member of Utah's leading professional theatrical group, the Pioneer Theatre Company (PTC) in Salt Lake City, which was formed in 1962 as the in-residence theatre of the University of Utah. In May 1986, Prey appeared in a production of Little Red Riding Hood, based on a new adaptation of the classic story by Yevet Crandell, which was staged as part of the PTC season of Young People's Theatre.[1] Two years later, she appeared in the PTC production of Georges Feydeau's play A Flea in Her Ear, which opened on 6 January 1988 and ran for a limited three week season.[2] She went on to perform in the company's 1991 production of Lettice and Lovage, which was directed by Libby Appel.[3] That same year, Prey appeared in Del Shore's play Daddy's Dyin': Who's Got the Will? in the role of Evalita Turnover (which had been played by Beverly D'Angelo in the then-recent film adaptation of the play, released the previous year).
