Herbert James Campbell (1925-) is a British neuroscientist and a writer of science fiction. He was an editor of Authentic Science Fiction from 1952 to 1956http://authors.wizards.pro/authors/writers/herbert-j-campbell. Campbell has published widely in science fiction, in addition to which he has published a number of neurophysiological articles during his time at Department of Neuroendocrinology in Maudsley Hospital. He has also published two full-length books on brain function and human behaviour.
