Before anyone asks, my policy on the World Socialist Web Site:
1. The site has an important archive of interviews. Many of these interviews are from artists who were relatively obscure at the time. In addition, the discussion often deals with the political and social views of the subject.
2. The site is an important opinion source. Alexa ranks the WSWS as the third socialist web site, after the People's Daily and the Marxist Internet Archive. Given the small size and resources of the ICFI, this indicates that the position taken by the WSWS is of significant interest - i.e. it is simply not believable that all, most, or even a substantial minority of WSWS readers are members of the ICFI's sections, loyally reading the "party line".
3. Under current conditions, I find it unlikely that there would be consensus for using the WSWS as a factual reference for most articles. I differ from the majority but I am prepared to accept their decisions.
