International Relief & Development (IRD) is an international nonprofit organization focusing on emergency relief and sustainable development. Its headquarters are located in Arlington VA, with field offices and staff in more than 40 countries world wide. It was founded in 1998 by Rev. Dr. Arthur B. Keys, and his wife Jasna Basarić-Keys.
IRD is a large recipient of grants and contracts from the US Agency for International Development (USAID), with major projects in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Haiti, Gaza/West Bank, Mozambique and other nations.[1]
