Biography

Klepikova was born on May 5, 1988 in the city of Kirov, Kirov region. She started playing sports at the age of 5. She preferred martial arts. At 16, she began her powerlifting career at the local municipal children's gym. The first competition took place in 2011, where Svetlana took first place. In 2015, she organized a championship in the city of Kirov, called "Lion Heart", where full-fledged athletes, children from orphanages, disabled people and difficult teenagers performed on the same platform. In the same year, she opens her own gym, where she begins to work with children whose parents are deprived of parental rights. In 2016, one of Svetlana's pupils became the Russian record holder in deadlift at the age of 15 with a result of 125 kg. In 2017, in the city of Moscow, she attended the II All-Russian scientific and practical school-conference on sports science in youth and adaptive sports.
