Man on the Moon III (Kid Cudi album) Man on the Moon III is the forthcoming studio album of American Rapper Kid Cudi. On July 8th, 2011, Kid Cudi announced via Twitter that the album is to be released in the fall of 2012. [1]It is the conclusion of a trilogy of studio albums that bagan with Man on the Moon: The End of Day and Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Cudi stated that he will begin working on it after he finishes his rock album, WiZaRd, with Dot da Genius
Background
editCudi's first studio album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, focussed on the rapper's light-hearted dreams, where as Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager focussed on his darker reality. It is unknown where Kid Cudi's inspiration will come from for Man on the Moon III.
Release
editAfter much speculation that the album would be released in late 2011, Cudi announced that the album would not be released until the fall of 2012, after he finishes working on his rock album, WiZaRd.
