I first posted this page on Wikipedia on the date of: August 16, 2005...
My Name Originates from my Father Peer Khan who immigrated here to the United States of America from what is now Pakistan in the early 1900's. We are from the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan near the Khyber Pass, and my Tribe is Pushtun/Pathan/Pakhtun/Pashtoon. My Family speaks Urdu. My father Peer Khan was a soldier in the Service of United States Army, and received an Honorable Discharge from the Army in 1939. I may be a Descendent of Genghis Khan similar too the film Genghis Khan (1965 film) the leader of the Mongolian Hoard, or Genghis Khan's son Kublai Khan who became the Emperor of China. The Name: Khan means Tribal Ruler. My Mother's name was: Virginia Leavitt. My Father and Mother are deceased.
Please don't mistake me for the film My Name is Khan. I haven't seen the film yet, so I don't know how factual the film represents me. California Love is a video that I enjoyed watching, but I only live on the West Coast, and like Oakland Raiders Football.
I am a United States citizen. I have lived in the United States of America all my life. I grew up in the State of New Jersey where I lived in the Village of Lakewood from 1960 until 1969 when we moved to Howell Township, New Jersey. I attended Freehold Regional High School District graduating from Howell High School in 1979 in the Township of Howell. Howell High School is located in Farmingdale, New Jersey. The Howell High School Mascot is the Rebel.
I now live in the City of Los Angeles, California . I attended Glendale Community College in California. The Glendale Community College Mascot is the Vaquero. I Graduated from GCC in 2008 and now have an Associate's degree in Business Administration. I have a 3.06 GPA, and was placed on the Dean's Honor roll for the Spring 2005 semester. I was an active member of Delta Sigma Omicron (Disabled Students Club at GCC) since The Spring 2005 semester, and became the Treasurer for DSO during the Spring 2006 semester. I recieved the Gerry George Memorial Scholarship Award from The Center for Students with Disabilities at GCC in the Spring 2006 semester. I recieved a Service Scholarship Award from Alpha Gamma Sigma (California State Honor Society at GCC) in the Spring 2006 semester. I was an active member of Alpha Gamma Sigma since the Spring 2006 semester.
