Jamie Eason is popular fitness model and writer. She is also a former NFL Cheerleader and winner of the World’s Fittest Model competition. She has been the featured subject and cover girl on many fitness and women’s magazines. Jamie is currently a full time spokesperson for Bodybuilding.com, and is developing her own line of swimwear.


Early life

Originally from Houston Texas, Besides playing sports Jamie grew up taking tap and dance classes at her Grandmothers Dance School[1] In Junior High she continued to dance and served as a varsity cheerleader, but in High School she opted for the drill team and later played softball.


Education

While working towards a degree in Speech Communication/Organization in College. Jamie took a weight training class for a Kinesiology credit[2]. It was then that Jamie’s interesting in Fitness Training began.


Cheerleader

In 2001 after graduating from college and while working for her grandfathers roofing company Jamie tried out for the new Houston Texans cheerleading squad. Jamie was one of 35 girls selected from 1600 girls in a rigorous two-day process[3]


Direction Change

After a short time as a Texans Cheerleader Jamie returned to a desk job and as Jamie said she noticed that my inactive lifestyle and poor nutrition were taking a toll on my body. It took cancer scare to really motivate me to change. In an attempt to shape up I joined a local gym.” Jamie continued to work out and improve but wasn’t completely satisfied with her results. After consulting a nutritionist she was put on a proper diet that completely transformed her body.[4]


Modeling / competition

First discovered at a fitness completion in Austin Texas. She was able to receive a pro card after her first fitness competition[5] 2006 in the Hard body Entertainment Model Search at the Olympia[6]


2008-2009

Jamie is currently dating Rich Luzzi from the American hard rock band, Rev Theory just released their album this past June, called “Light It Up”. They are with Interscope Records.
