I am working on the ISO Alpha 3 Codes page. Specifically, I am adding redirects so that other programs may use Wikipedia to link to a country web site by simply knowing the ISO Alpha 3 country code. I am using the REDIRECT directive to implement this change to Wikipedia. For instance, the following links would be equivalent (as I have already done)
That way a distributed application can programmatically access a country wikipedia home page by knowing the base URL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-3) and concatenating the ISO Alpha 3 code (e.g. IND) to that link.
If anyone has an issue with this please let me know within a reasonable amount of time (say a month or so) so I don't waste time doing it.
