Automotive Dealership Institute founded in December of 2004. The institute offers management training for automotive dealerships. Alan Algan is Executive Director [2]. and Dr. Robert W. Serum is the Chancellor [1]. Around 150 students graduated the program each year. As of 2006, the Institute can grant student visas to applicants from all over the world [2].

Programs and Coursework edit

The Automotive Dealership Institute is considered a post-secondary school, and students who complete the accelerated four-week program are placed in franchised automobile dealerships [2]. The school offers courses in automotive finance software, working with prime and non-prime lenders, relating to customers and additional sales tactics related to finance and insurance products. Students also take a course in managing client expectations [3]. All course work is collected in Alan Algan’s book, “Automotive Sales F and I Management, which is catalogued in the Library of Congress [4]. Upon graduation, students may transfer 32 credits to Northwood University for continued education [5].

Job Placement Services edit

The Automotive Dealership Institute also offers job placement assistance in the form of resume writing services and mock interviews. The Institute also places students for positions with franchised dealerships that are within its network [6].
