My name is Chris Purcell. I am currently a resident of Texas and am a 2008 University of Texas at Dallas graduate in Political Science. I am presently working towards obtaining a teaching certificate and have successfully passed my Social Studies 8-12 composite examination.

Statement of Purpose
editWikipedia, by its nature, has a tremendous capacity to provide information to many individuals regardless of their location. Because I believe that the contribution to education, in any form, is of vital importance to the progress of humanity, it is my stated objective to provide whatever services I can to improve Wikipedia. Though I cannot spend as much time as I would like researching material and publishing it on Wikipedia, I will revise articles and add new ones when time allows.
I understand that all of us have unique opinions and perspectives regarding a variety of issues. However, I will pledge to provide information that is un-biased, objective, and comprehensive. If you want my opinion, you are free to ask for it in a forum that will not compromise the integrity of this service.
