The Ombalantu Baobab tree is a well known tree in Namibia.It's a very big tree and was used for various activities in the community. When king Kamaku died in 1835, other tribes started attacking and stealing cattle from the Ombalantu people. The headmen then decided to cut a hole into the top of the tree, the tree played a special role by saving people who were hidden in the tree, people like the Mwamyangapo Baobab, Mukokotwa Baobab and the Shikwiya's Baobab.[1] hola
