Victor Rodriguez received his PhD in Applied Economics through the Department of Business and Economics at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. He is a tenured researcher at the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research TNO. His research interests are in innovation and intellectual property rights. Currently, he is the co-ordinator of European projects on patents and corporate R&D. Apart from that, he is a member of several learned societies. Moreover, he has contributed articles to international refereed journals. Previously, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Ottawa and the Conference Board of Canada. He also carried out research at the Cordoba Science Agency.
